Entries: All categories $20, except Juniors $5. No Late Fees!! Registration opens at
8:30AM the day of the race. No pre-registration is necessary. Registration for each category closes 15 minutes before the race start. Annual or one-day USCF licenses are required. One-day USCF licenses will be available for $5 at registration. If you want to do an additional race the entry fee is $10
except only $1 for juniors. |

All awards listed above are for each race. Clif Bar "hot
lap" prime to the leader after lap 1 in each wave. In addition,
Spinergy is awarding a Tillium Carbon wheelset to the
best overall Mens A and an X-Aero Lite wheelset to the best Womens A rider for the 3 races.
Points based on So Cal Cross Cup scoring for each event. In case of a tie, the better placed rider at
the Dec 28th race wins. |

So Cal Cross Cup Series Points/Scoring: Points will be awarded to the top
8 riders in each category. Categories with
combined start times will be scored separately for series
points. Points are not transferable between categories. Points for 1st through
8th place: 16,13,10,7,5,3,2,1.

| Course:
Buena Vista Park was the 2002 California State Championship
course. It is a fast course on dirt trails, paved road, and grass.
Course configuration may change as we go. |
| Rules:
USCF cyclocross rules apply. CYCLOCROSS AND MOUNTAIN BIKES (No Bar
ends) ARE WELCOME. Bike and wheel changes are allowed in the
designated pit areas. Riders must wear helmets at all times when
on the bike. Riders shall stay on the course or existing trails.
Finally, please respect the venue and the locals. We want to put
on more races and neighborhood satisfaction is very important. |

Cs:
Beginners, riders new to bicycle racing and cyclocross. USCF cat 5
and NORBA Beginners.
Bs:
Riders with some CX experience. USCF cats 3, 4, 5 and NORBA
Sport/Beginner riders.
As:
Experienced CX racers. USCF Pro/1-5, NORBA Pro or Expert. |
Location/Directions: The race is at Buena
Vista Park in Vista, CA (about 40 miles north of San Diego).
- From I-5, take Hwy 78 east to the
Melrose exit. Turn right on Melrose and drive south about 2.5
miles. Turn right on Shadowridge Drive. The entrance to the
park is ¼ mile on the left.
- From I-15, take Hwy 78 West to the
Sycamore Exit. Turn left on Sycamore for about a ¼ mile and
then turn right on Shadowridge Drive. Stay on Shadowridge.
Once you cross Melrose (about 1.5 miles), the entrance to the
park is ¼ mile on the left.
