12/27/04 - So Cal Cross Cup continues with the Solvang Cross this Sunday, where Mike Hecker says it's likely to rain all week so be prepared for mud. Current Cross Cup Standings are posted after 11 events.

12/12/04 - US Cross Nationals - Seven Celo Pacific riders traveled to Portland to compete in the most intense cross race of the year. All of the races were held in extremely muddy conditions that required lots of running through deep slop despite no barriers on the circuit. It was tough and many of the fields had 100+ riders. 11/28/04 - Turkey Trot Cross in Glendale -- A great technical course in a cool grass park with lots of trees -- Mens A: Brent Prenzlow took the win after chasing down early Amgen leaders Mark Noble and Perry Paolini. Tony Smith had a great ride taking 5th on his fixed gear cross bike. 45+: Chuck Morris takes his 7th straight win. 35+: Chris Gallup took 2nd. More results coming soon.

10/30 & 31 - US Gran Prix of Cyclocross rounds 3 and 4 were held in Gloucester, MA. Day 1 - After a bad start and a wheel mechanical, Celo's Brent Prenzlow switched bikes and steadily worked his way up to 28th . On day 2, BP bounced back to take 20th in a deep 85 rider field. Day 2 was a UCI Cat 1 event.

10/10/04 - U.S. Gran Prix of Cyclocross #2; Ft. Steilacoom Park, Tacoma, WA -- Brent Prenzlow (Celo Pacific-Salsa) gains his first UCI points of the season with a 13th place finish.

10/2/04 - The 1st US UCI race, the Star Crossed Cyclocross in Seattle was held at night under the lights in and around the Marymoor Velorome. Celo's Brent Prenzlow finished 12th in a race narrowly won by Carl Decker (Giant) over Todd Wells (GT). Click here for photos.

9/26/04 - Brent Prenzlow (Celo Pacific-Salsa) won the Men's Elite at the Bay Area Super Prestige Series opener at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. Ben Jacques-Maynes (Sierra Nevada) was 2nd and John Funke (Sycip) 3rd. 4/24/04 - Devil's Punchbowl Road Race - Brent Prenzlow finished 13th and John Behrens 19th in the hilly 80 mile Pro/1/2 race.

4/11/04 - Ontario Criterium #2 - Larry Friedman finished 15th in the Masters 55+ race.

3/21/04 - Pomona Valley Stage Race - Chan Huynh finished 4th Overall in the Cat 5 race, 1:38 back.

3/6/04 - Camp Pendleton Bike Road Race - Congrats to Celo Riders - Chan Huynh, Robert Oldfield, and Mark Moses. Chan was 4th in Civilian Men 35-39; Robert and Mark were 4th and 6th (Civilian Men 45-49). Full Results here.

2/29/04 - Temecula Omnium Stage Race - Celo riders John Behrens & Brent Prenzlow raced in the large 115 rider Pro/1/2 field, but did not score pts, which only went 14 deep. Tony Smith, who just upgraded to Cat 4, placed 3rd in the TT and 12th Overall, despite crashing in the final lap of the Criterium.

2/21/04 - The Masters State Criterium Championships will be at Barrio Logan on Sat, May 1st, and the Masters State Road Race Championships will be at Vandenburg on Sat, June 5th. Our San Luis Rey Road Race follows Barrio Logan as usual on May 2nd.

2/7/04 - Boulevard Road Race, held 60 miles east of San Diego, is the traditional road season-opener in So Cal and had very competive fields. Celo Pacific had 3 racing - Brent Prenzlow, 10th, Masters 35+, Chan Huynh, 10th, Cat 5a, and John Behrens, Pro/1/2.  Results here.
