Mark's family will be giving away 25 bikes to needy children this Saturday, December 4, in Orange County.  Some of you already know this (maybe all of you).  Mark's mother, Dona, wanted to make sure all of his teammates and friends were invited to help out with this event. 

Below I am including an e-mail from Ken Rands from the SHARE Mountain Bike Club.  Ken is organizing this bike giveaway on behalf of the Reynolds family.  The bikes are being assembled and delivered by Rock N' Road Cyclery. 

The Reynolds family has already given out bikes in St. Louis, MO in October, in St. Joseph, MO on Nov. 20, and they will be giving out bikes in Orange County, CA and again in St. Joseph, MO on Dec. 4.  I also believe that bike giveaways are being planned for Colorado Springs, CO and Austin, TX, but I don't know any details.

If you would like help with the giveaway on Saturday, please let KEN RANDS know at (volunteers@cox.net) so he will know how many people to expect.

If you are going up to help, here are the details...

Time and Date:  Saturday, December 4 at 10am.  Please arrive at 9:30AM to be there before the children.

Location is El Modena Family Resource Center, 18672 E. Center Ave (not St.) Orange.  Directions are on the website, but it is easy to find.
     Take Chapman 1.5 miles east of the 55 freeway to Hewes.
     Turn left (north) two blocks to E. Center Ave.
     Turn left on Center, El Modena Family Center is the large white building on the left.  You will have to park on the street.

KEN also has decals (shown below, actual size is 2-1/8 inch diameter) for sale at $2 each.   There are t-shirts available on the website.  All proceeds will go to the fund to support future bike giveaways.
