Swamis Cycling Club invites you to: North County’s Cycling Clubs Palomar Challenge Geoff Doyle has been developing club races for Swamis for the past year. On May 28th, we are looking to have a “Friendly” multi club East Grade Palomar hill climb. Geoff has developed a handicap system that allows riders of varying abilities to compete. We will have 3-4 separate group starts with the slowest group starting first and groups starting every 3 minutes. As a club race we are looking to have you seed yourself fairly and have some fun. We will also be timing you on an individual basis. We will have some car support / timing for the hill climb and we will provide a few prizes. Send an email to Geoff Doyle (gdoyle@poscorp.com) if you are thinking about coming out. We want to get a list for timing your effort up the east grade. The plan is to park at the base of the normal “Store to Store” climb, warm up riding along the base of Palomar. Group up at Henshaw lake store. Do the Hill Climb up the East Grade. Ride back down to the cars.
